1. Introduction

Dropit is a personal archiving tool developed by MOTG ("we", "our"), operated via Telegram Bot (@motg_drop_link_bot), Telegram Mini App, and KakaoTalk Channel (Dropit). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information from Messaging Platforms

• Platform User ID (Telegram, KakaoTalk) — to identify your account and separate your data from other users
• Display name (Telegram only) — to personalize the Mini App experience
• Messages you send to the bot (URLs, text memos, to-dos)

2.2 Information You Provide

• Display name — if you set a custom name in the Settings page
• Account linking data — when you link accounts across platforms (e.g., Telegram ↔ KakaoTalk)

2.3 Information We Generate

• Metadata extracted from URLs you share (page title, description, thumbnail via OG tags)
• AI-generated content: category classification and one-line summaries of your saved items
• Unified User ID — an internal identifier to connect your data across linked platforms

2.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Phone number
• Contacts or address book
• Location data
• Payment or financial information
• Cookies or tracking identifiers
• KakaoTalk profile name or photo (KakaoTalk does not provide this to chatbots)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Save and organize the content you send to the bot
• Generate AI-powered categorization and summaries
• Display your archived content in the Mini App / web viewer
• Detect duplicate URLs
• Link your accounts across platforms (when you choose to do so)
• Show personalized greetings and To-Do reminders

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

4. Cross-Platform Account Linking

When you link accounts across platforms (e.g., Telegram ↔ KakaoTalk):

• Your data from all linked platforms is unified under a single account
• You can view all your saved content from any linked platform
• Linking is voluntary and initiated by you via a time-limited code
• You can unlink platforms at any time by contacting us

Each third-party service is governed by its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

6. Data Storage & Security

• Your data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database
• Data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
• Access to the database is restricted to the service administrator
• Authentication tokens are signed with HMAC-SHA256 and expire after 2 hours
• We do not store your Telegram or KakaoTalk authentication credentials
• API endpoints are protected with Content Security Policy, CORS headers, and rate limiting

7. Data Retention

• Your data is retained as long as you use the Service
• You may request deletion of all your data at any time by contacting us
• If you stop using the Service, your data remains stored unless you request deletion
• Temporary data (link codes, authentication tokens) expires automatically

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — View all data we store about you (visible in the Mini App)
• Delete — Request complete deletion of your data
• Export — Request a copy of your data
• Unlink — Request unlinking of cross-platform accounts

9. Children's Privacy

Dropit is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
